The Springfield Milers is a BMW motorcycle club, but membership has always been open to riders of all brands. The requirements for joining are:
- Be sponsored by an existing member (this is easier than it sounds, since existing members are eager to sponsor prospective members).
- Attend 2 Miler events or regularly scheduled meetings.
- Fill out an application form.
- Pay dues and initiation fee (these are kept small because we are not in it for the money, but rather to have fun riding motorcycles).
- Be voted in by a show of hands at the second meeting.
